Last week I showed my tea-lights-wrapped-with washi-tape trick which I pull out from up my sleeve whenever I need to throw together a nice looking dinner table in a hurry. Today I have another super quick fix for you... using mason jars with daisy cut lids to create smart-casual mason jar flower arrangements. I really like the way cheap corner store blooms look in a sculptural bouquet so I use a daisy cut lid as a 'flower frog' to stand the stems up and get that rounded topiary shape. It doesn't take any longer than snipping off the ends and whacking the stems in water, but the effect is a little more polished to make your dinner guests feel special and welcomed by a little bit of extra creative effort.
