1770 AND AGNES WATER {PART 1}

We're back in Brisbane after our short road trip up the Discovery Coast and although preparations for this weekend's Finders Keepers Markets are frantically under way here at The Spring Cottage I have to take a break from terrarium making and table-scaping to share some photos from our beautiful trip.

We went up to the towns of 1770 and Agnes Water for the first time two years ago for a sandbar wedding, but this time around we had more days to relax, explore, and really get to know the area. The weather was perfect - the ocean was chilly - but the sun shines hotter than in Southern Queensland and with all the blue skies, warm sand, and local tropical fruit on offer it felt like a real getaway from winter. We love the drive up the Bruce Highway towards Gladstone and I'll post about our favourite places to stop between Brisbane and Gladstone in the next few days, as well as our picks for the best stuff to do, see, and eat in 1770 and Agnes Water... But in the mean time please enjoy this first instalment of our photo tribute to endless summer.
