This is pretty much what the weekend looked like around here.

Some of you may not know that when I'm not working on the shop, popping up at markets, blogging here or writing for other sites I also tutor at Uni. I love teaching, I love talking about big ideas with enthusiastic students, and I love seeing their abilities expand to met their talents. It's a great job, and I like to remind myself of that when the rest of the country is out playing and I'm at home with a pile of term papers on need of immediate grading.

It's a little later than I wanted to post today, but I promised myself I'd get through all the marking before turning to anything else - and now it's all done! Thank goodness for the crappy weather (that didn't get too crappy until AFTER we'd packed up The Spring Shop at The Powerhouse Markets on Saturday morning!) because without the wet and cold staying home by the fire with my students' thoughts on Locke, Rousseau, Voltaire, and Shelley wouldn't have struggled to hold quite the same appeal.

I can't believe it's already the end of another term. Where is 2013 going in such a hurry?
