{1. To make embroidered cards, first draw or trace a simple image.}

{2. Using your embroidery needle, punch a hole through the pencil line every few centimetres.}

{3. Erase the pencil lines.}

{4. Thread your needle with embroidery floss and push it through a hole from the back of the card. Leave a tail of floss to be secured with a knot so it doesn't slip through.}

{5. Back-stitch along the path of the punched holes.}

{6. When the embroidered picture is complete, loop the floss through a fixed stitch on the back of the card and knot to secure.}

{7. To finish, paste a bit of thick paper over the back of your card to hide the wrong side of your embroidery & write your message.}
